Mail Me Art 3: Short and Sweet

Remember that post about how I made the rabbit (actually, hare) jumping to the moon? You can read about it here. Well, in March I mailed off this collagraph print to London and it is included in a book called "Mail Me Art 3: Short and Sweet." Mail Me Art is a project that invites artists from all over the world to mail in a piece of artwork in the form of a decorated envelope. The artworks are then included in a book and a travelling exhibition. A percentage of sales from the original art goes to Animal Aid, WaterAid and the Teenage Cancer Trust. It is too far away for me to attend the art show, but I've been told that my book is in the mail now!

You can buy my original art here. And for a limited time you can pre-order the Mail Me Art book here. Use the coupon code POSTBOX and get £10 off! (That's about $15.)

*Update 2/2/2014: You can purchase this image as a blank 5 x 7 notecard in my online shop HERE.*

I cut out the corners of the envelope...

and glued it shut. There's nothing inside, as the envelope itself is the finished artwork.

Then I addressed it to London!

  1. I love this! You are a SOTA grad? One of my sons is too. How did you feel about Ms Ciment?

  2. Thanks Ashley! I graduated from SOTA in 2000, so I Ms. Ciment wasn't around yet. I primarily had Ms. Lyons, Ms. Medler, and Ms. Tkach as teachers - all were awesome!
